Process Server Institute is conducting a concentrated morning seminar that will describe what you need to start, maintain, and market a successful process serving business – what you need to set it up, keeping track of your services and billings, what to charge, the different types of services to offer, and how to get paid. We will introduce the next afternoon topic, the service of writs. The How to Start Seminar begins at 10 AM and ends at Noon.

We will break for lunch, and continue with a more comprehensive overview of the service procedures for of writs of attachment and writs of execution assignments, and explaining:

  • What is a writ
  • What types of writ assignments a process server participate in
  • Fees to charge
  • Preparing proofs of service
  • Maintaining a record of the service

Hands-on demonstration

  • Deposit account levy (bank levy)
  • Wage garnishment

The Writ Seminar will go from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

We will also be providing an intense overview of The Registered Process Server’s Guide to Service of Writs of Attachment and Writs of Execution. You are encouraged to buy the book, and you may purchase one or all of our books at a special 15% off discount when you attend the seminar. If you have the books, bring them and a free update will be provided.
