Seminars and Events
These are the topics we have covered since Process Server Institute began in 1996:
- Affidavits and Proofs of Service
- Process Serving Basics
- Process Serving Beyond the Basics
- Skip Tracing/Investigations
- Service by Publication
- How to Start, Maintain, and Market a Successful Process Serving Business
- Photocopy
- Foreign Deposition Subpoenas
- Criminal Law Presentation
Generally, our seminars are $50 each, and we usually have two seminars on one day (morning and afternoon) covering different topics.
We also have a special dinner event each January in the San Francisco bay area and southern California. Our What’s New for Process Servers dinner events ushers in the new year where we cover the new laws, appellate decisions, and court forms. We also invite participation about current topics affecting process servers, such as efiling, service, process serving news, war stories, scandals, court policies, etc. The dinner events are usually $45. It’s a great way to have a good meal, learn something about the new laws, and relax and socialize with current or future business associates.
Each seminar and event has a handout. The seminar handout is a PowerPoint slideshow. The dinner events may include a PowerPoint presentation handout, and/or a summary and copy of the new laws, appellate decision, and forms. If you cannot come, you may purchase the event or seminar handout for $28.00 ($25 + t/s).
Our Books are available at out events for purchase at a discount.
